Honeysuckle is an old stone built cottage in the small village of Lofthouse in Nidderdale, an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is six miles from Pateley Bridge and 40 minutes from Harrogate.

The cottage has been restored, retaining the original beams and an open log fire. There is a new kitchen and bathroom.

Next door is the village shop and the farm at the top of the hill will supply milk and home made ice cream. The local pub 'The Crown ' is a short walk away where they serve hearty meals. There are other pubs and restuarants within a short drive away as well as those in Pateley.

Lofthouse is near How Steen Gorge with its caves.

Fountains Abbey, Brimham Rocks (both National Trust) and other castles and abbeys can easily be reached by car. In Harrogate are Bettys Tea Rooms, and the RHS Harlow Carr gardens.

York is within travelling distance.
